G2 Esports are priced at -250 to defeat Ninjas in Pyjamas on Wednesday, which doesn’t seem right knowing that NiP won against G2 on Sunday with 16-14 on Inferno, 10-16 on Dust II, and 19-16 on Nuke. What’s more, NiP won that bout without Nicolai “dev1ce” Reedtz, who was feeling unwell and was forced to sit out the game.

Unfortunately, dev1ce won’t be back for the BLAST World Final either, but NiP should still have a solid chance to take down G2 regardless. That’s not necessarily because NiP are that much better, but rather because G2 Esports have looked a bit disjointed of late – likely because half of the team is getting replaced by the end of the year.

NiP shouldn’t be priced as high since this is a match that can easily go both ways. If G2 step up, they should sweep the Swedish-Danish squad, but based on what we have seen from them recently; we wouldn’t count on that happening.

TEAM VITALITY vs ASTRALIS CS:GO BETTING & MATCH DETAILS

CS:GO Betting Odds:

Vitality -212.77 at BetOnline | Astralis +161 at BetOnline

Team Vitality is gaining some serious traction, which was unexpected from a team that will undergo major roster changes by the end of the month. The French squad won Intel Extreme Masters XVI Winter on Sunday, with a 3-0 sweep of Ninjas in Pyjamas, while their only loss of the tournament came against reigning Major finalists G2 Esports (1-2).

Astralis have been far less convincing with their showings since the Danish esports organisation freshened up its CS:GO division. They crashed out of IEM Winter in ninth-12th place and did not achieve much in November at the Major either, finishing 12th-14th after a 1-2 loss against Team Vitality in the final round of the New Legends Stage.

Interestingly, Vitality eliminated Astralis from four of their last five tournaments, but only once did the French squad win with a clean sweep. Talent-wise, you could argue that Astralis are a more well-rounded team, and while we don’t expect them to derail Vitality, another three-map series is a likely outcome.
