]]>The Golden Guardians new arena is built to include a training facility and a creative studio which is expected to open in the Fall of 2022.
The Golden Guardians is an esports franchise of six-time NBA champions the Golden State Warriors. The Warriors’ esports business offices and operations will be housed at the facility, according to reports.
Golden Guardians’ training facility will be open to team members who play Melee, World of Warcraft and League of Legends. There will be an availability for a training room, a lounge for players, a film room, a team operations office and a kitchen.
“Our new esports facility will have a significant positive impact the development of our competitors,” Golden State Warriors Head of Esports Hunter Leigh said.
“The investment in a state-of-the-art headquarters in Los Angeles speaks to the Warriors’ long-term dedication to growing esports and supporting our players in every way possible.
“I cannot wait for construction to be complete and to offer these amenities to our team.”
The facility will help the Golden Guardians to expand its competitive potential by allowing its athletes to develop their particular crafts.
More esports firms are aiming to construct such facilities in order to improve their players and provide prospects for monetization.
A film set, green screen and editing booths will be available at the facility’s creative studio. The new facility is located near Playa Vista, Los Angeles.
Golden Guardian’s partnership with Adamas
Early this year, the Golden Guardians, signed a partnership deal with Adamas, the esports training company. Adamas will work with the organization’s League Championship Series (LCS) and Academy teams, including its coaching staff, to provide consultation.
Sports therapy, mental performance, and coaching advancement will be among the services offered.
Sam Broadley, the Golden Guardians’ two-way player coach, pioneered the idea and believes their research into the mental side of esports could pay dividends.
He contacted Adamas after speaking with GSW’s director of sports medicine, Rick Celebrini.
Broadley cited the company’s esports focus as a key component in the collaboration, noting that many similar firms specialize in traditional sports and are now breaking out into esports.
Danan Flander, Golden Guardians General Manager, also revealed he has had a great working relationship with the firm in their short span of collaboration.
“Having worked with Adamas for several months already, we’re thrilled to continue evolving our mental performance efforts and upgrading the support we provide both our players and coaching staff,” Danan Flander said.
“The health of our talent is a top priority and we’re proud to be a leader in the esports mental health and performance conversation.”
Since there are few scholastic or youth esports contests that properly feed into a professional career path, most esports veterans received their initial chance of playing on a competitive team by rising through the ranks.
As a result, they’re concentrating a lot of their efforts on maintaining to spend a lot of time on ranked play rather than more regimented practice or outside-of-game advancements.
Caleb Cousens, Chief Executive Officer of Adamas Esports,?said the opportunity to work alongside the Golden Guardians was exciting. He said their goal-driven reputation and positive input in the esports community were telling factors.

]]>The Call of Duty World League Championship is back, once again putting 32 of the best CoD teams head-to-head in what promises to be a spectacle no esports fan should miss.
Providing us with three days of non-stop action and countless betting opportunities, the CWL Championship gathers Call of Duty esports enthusiasts and avid gamblers alike as the best in the world battle over US $800,000 prize money.
The tournament returns to Los Angeles this year for the sixth edition and will kick off on August 16 with group stage matches, where the 32 teams are divided into eight sections of four. Each group will consist of two pro teams and two amateur teams, giving the latter a chance to prove their worth to the world.
A round-robin format with best-of-five series will be used to determine which two teams emerge victorious in their group and advance into the knockout stage. The bottom two teams in each section will be eliminated.
The knockout stage is set to begin on August 17, a day after the group stage concludes. The second phase will also use Bo5 series, while a double-elimination bracket means each team will have two chances to reach the finals, via the upper bracket or via the lower bracket.
After five rounds of playoffs conclude, the grand finals will take centre stage on August 18 and mark the end of the Call of Duty World League 2019 season.
Who out of the 32 participants will emerge as the champions is yet to be seen, and while the competition looks as tough as any year before, there are a handful of teams who are considered the favourites to go all the way. They emerged victorious at CWL London and CWL Anaheim and also reached a solid fourth-place finish at Fort Worth.
The CWL Playoffs campaign did not go as planned, however, as 100T had to settle for a fifth-sixth place finish, which was their worst placing at an event since CWL Vegas. Seeing how that was a disappointing result, it only proves the quality and the ambitions of a team who will want to impress in front of their home fans in LA.
FaZe Clan

FaZe Clan are undoubtedly one of the most iconic Call of Duty teams in the world and a squad never to be underestimated.
A huge question mark was put above Richard “RJ” Simoncelli’s squad ahead of the 2019 CoD World League season, mostly due to the team’s subpar results last year. But FaZe were not at all fazed by those doubts and earned themselves a bronze medal at the CWL Pro League Playoffs in late July.
Although that was their only podium finish of the season, it was enough to silence the doubters and establish FaZe as contenders for the title at Pauley Pavilion.
Gen.G

Tied with FaZe as third favourites to emerge victorious in Los Angeles, Gen.G did not need long to prove they belong among the top teams in the world.
While their start of the season was relatively slow, Gen.G found their momentum and performed well towards the end of the campaign. Grand final appearances in both Anaheim and the CWL Pro League Playoffs have put Joey “Nubzy” DiGiacomo and his team on the map and among the favourites to achieve greatness in LA.
Despite the fact Gen.G lost both of their grand finals, which has raised some concern about their ability to perform under high-pressure situations, they are still widely considered a force to be reckoned with.
Luminosity

Luminosity are the sixth favourite to win in Los Angeles, but they should not be ignored by bettors.
The Canadian outfit might not have the flashiest results this season, but they look like a solid team bursting with raw talent. They took a risk swapping Pierce “Gunless” Hillman and Nicholas “Classic” DiCostanzo for Carson “Brack” Newberry and Cesar “Skyz” Bueno, but it has paid off greatly.

The LA team’s wins in London and Anaheim were simply breathtaking, as it seemed like they were playing on their own level. Their underwhelming CWL Playoffs finish is a simple bump in the road to the finals and the title of CWL Champions.
Despite being considered second favourites to eUnited, 100 Thieves simply have too much talent, experience and overall quality to be ignored.

The Wild Card invitees Renegades are priced at long odds to win BLAST Pro Series: Los Angeles 2019. That seems fair enough, as they would have to produce some kind of a miracle to defeat teams such as FaZe, NRG, Team Liquid, or even the shaky MIBR.
While Renegades perform well as a team, they are simply not on par with the best. That much was obvious at ESL One Cologne, where they exited in straight sets.

MIBR are going through a lot at the moment. With the reports of their star player Marcelo “coldzera” David at the exit doors and ongoing internal issues among the squad, the Brazilian outfit’s performances have plummeted.
Having hung around the top three for the most of their existence, MIBR are now ranked 13th in the world and it does not look like they will find a way back to the top 10 anytime soon. Due to the condition the team is in right now, we will steer clear from backing them at BLAST Pro Series: Los Angeles and possibly for the upcoming weeks as well.
BLAST Series Pro LA betting predictions
By crossing out the three pretenders, we are left with three contenders for the title: FaZe Clan, NRG and the no.1 team in the world, Team Liquid.
It will take a lot for FaZe (+600) and NRG (+400) to compete with Liquid for top spot. There is no denying both teams are strong and deserve to be rated among the top six sides in the world, but TL are playing in their own weight class at the minute.
Team Liquid are priced at -151.52 to win the tournament, which is fair when you consider how dominant they have been in recent months. At the rate they play, and with the momentum they have gathered, they can take down any team they happen to meet in the finals, be it FaZe, NRG, or anyone else.
Liquid are on an 11-game winning streak and should extend that run at BLAST Pro Series: Los Angeles 2019. While there is a possibility they can slip up in the group stage Bo1 matches, the Intel Grand Slam winners are certain to make the playoffs and look destined to take out their first BLAST Pro Series event of the year.
